Congregation Ahabat Sholom held a Simchat Bait Hashoevah (sukkot 2006) on Thursday night October 12th. A delicious spaghetti supper, prepared by Davide Casali and Leora, was served "under the stars" in the beautifully decorated cafe-style yard. Everyone enjoyed the entertainment by Ellen Garfield, singing and playing the guitar and Davide Casali, singing and playing the clarinet. The finale was a surprise - Rebbitzen Leora wrote a song for the Israeli Ladino song festival and won second place in the competition. Ellen sang it and was greeted by great applause by the audience.
